Whiteboard plan of action!

This was a fantastic event on the Island on the 15th of January. Elisabeth organised for Dr Tim Haggitt to present the findings of the 2020 baseline marine survey around Rakino.

It was a resounding success, with more than 60 people attending and overwhelmingly strong support for marine conservation in the gulf. We were also very fortunate to have Rod and Sue Neureuter visit and share their experience of marine restoration around the Noises.

After the presentation Experiencing Marine Reserves ran a snorkeling session down in Woody Bay. This was also a wild success, and may have triggered a regular snork meet-up! Watch this space…
