DESCRIPTION:We’re so lucky to have some special guests coming to Rakino in March to give some talks\, take people on enlightening walks and also for a guided snorkel on January 16. Join Dr Tim Haggit marine biologist who can also provide insights from the marine survey he led recently around the island. Dr Tim Lovegrove the “bird whisperer” is also coming to share some amazing information about our landbirds and Kerry Lukies from The Northern New Zealand Seabird Trust can share what she knows about our invaluable seabird populations. Come along and grab a sausage courtesy of the nursery and take a look at what is available or willing becoming available. \nPlease leave vehicles at the roadside at the top of the hill\, thanks. \nIf you have ordered plants you are welcome to them anytime but……the ground is still very dry and planting is not recommended yet.
